Welcome to The Studio, Sai Kung!

The Studio is delighted to offer a full range of fitness classes including Pilates, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Flow, Pre and Post-natal Yogalates, Zumba!, Barre classes, TRX training and Zumba Toning to meet a whole range of needs and fitness levels and encourage general well-being. We also offer once a month, a Yamuna Body Rolling workshop to stretch and massage tight and overused muscles.

In September, we intend to offer Yin Yoga classes on a Friday morning, and on a Saturday morning at 11:15am, we are to trial Nirvana Fitness at The Studio. Email us for more details of these new sessions

Pilates

An hour of postural based strengthening and stretching exercises. Mat classes use a variety of equipment including magic circles, core balls, fitballs and therabands. We also offer Ron Fletcher Towelwork and Floorwork in our classes.

The Studio also offers private sessions consisting of an hour of Pilates for injury rehabilitation. Private tuition using the Pilates equipment is available for those
students who:

  • require rehabilitation from injury or suffer from chronic pain
  • wish to focus on a particular aspect of their fitness
  • have specific goal- or sport-oriented fitness needs

Piloxing Barre

Come and join us in an exciting new fitness barre workout. Piloxing Barre is low impact with intensity training using a ballet barre as an external support to initiate muscle toning. We also use piloxing weight gloves to add more resistance to our training.

You will achieve body balance and toning allowing your muscles to go deeper into each exercise. The Pilates moves increase muscle endurance and dynamic flexibility. You will burn calories and refine your body in a way that feels amazing.

Pilates Cardio Fusion

The Studio offers a fusion of Pilates and cardio class once a week. This energetic session consists of an aerobic warm up followed by a variety of Pilates, barre and toning exercises for the complete body workout.

Zumba! and Zumba Toning 

These Latin inspired cardio workout sessions, feature catchy music and fun choreography.Get fit whilst perfecting your dance moves in salsa, merengue, reggaton, cumbia and many more dance styles from around the world. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Yoga at The Studio

Hatha Yoga concentrates on the practice of postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) in a traditional way with techniques which will not only strengthen the body and gain better flexibility but also bring about a balance of body and mind. Good for all ages and all levels.
Pre-natal Yoga classes run twice weekly. Yoga during pregnancy is intended to alleviate many discomforts of pregnancy but also help prepare women both physically and mentally for birth.

Our personal trainers will tailor a programme to match your
fitness needs to your lifestyle. First we listen to learn about your
preferences, needs, goals and time limitations. Then we assess
your fitness levels and prepare a programme which may include
one on one session at The Studio and exercise logs.
We review your programme on a session by session basis to ensure that it remains effective and relevant.
One on one and small group tuition
Private tuition using the Pilates equipment is available for those
students who:

  • require rehabilitation from injury or suffer from chronic pain
  • wish to focus on a particular aspect of their fitness
  • have specific goal- or sport-oriented fitness needs

Private and small group sessions can also be arranged for those students whose busy work schedules or lifestyles do not enable them to attend regular classes.
